DIALED · TRAVERSE TRAVEL CORP
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information used by Dialed, what stays on your device, what is saved through our online services, and the choices available to you.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Traverse Travel Corp, a Delaware corporation, operates Dialed and this website and is responsible for the processing described in this policy. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. For privacy questions or requests, email huddydialed@gmail.com or write to the address below.
This policy covers the current app design and this website. Features and data practices may change as the app develops; we will update this policy and provide notice or obtain consent where required.
2. Information used in the app
- Your account: Dialed uses Google Firebase Authentication to create and maintain an app account, including a guest account when you have not connected Apple. Your account identifier associates your saved records and access with you.
- Your inputs and progress: your name or preferred name, age, goals, routines, time budget, selected or custom habits, check-ins, amounts and completion times, journal notes, letter to yourself, weekly reviews, reminders, scores, ranks, and settings are used to create and maintain your plan. Some inputs may relate to sleep, exercise, screen habits, or wellbeing.
- Cloud records and recovery: the app keeps local data and also sends profile, protocol, and progress records to our Firebase/Firestore services. Cloud checkpoints can include your answers, habits, check-ins, notes, letter, reviews, settings, and progress history. They support saved progress and recovery of the same account.
- Sign in with Apple: if you connect Apple, we use an Apple-provided credential to link to or sign in to your Firebase account. The current sign-in flow does not request your name or email from Apple. Information you provide directly to Dialed can still be associated with that account. Connecting Apple can help you recover the account on another device; permissions and device-specific information may need to be set up again.
- Optional photos: camera-proof photo files are saved in local app storage. The current implementation does not upload those photo files to a Company photo-storage service. A check-in or cloud progress checkpoint may contain a local photo reference and completion record; that reference is not the photo file and does not make the photo available on another device.
- Purchases and technical information: Apple, RevenueCat, and Superwall process purchase, subscription, account, device, and paywall information as described below. Firebase and our other providers also process technical request information needed to operate their services.
Your information is not entirely device-only. Removing the app does not delete your cloud account or records. Device and backup settings may also affect local data.
3. Screen Time and app blocking
With your permission, Dialed uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks to let you select apps, categories, and websites, apply blocks or limits, run focus schedules, and display Screen Time reports. Apple’s private selection tokens are kept in shared app storage on your device for use by Dialed’s extensions. The current implementation does not send those opaque tokens or the raw app-by-app Screen Time report to our database.
Account records can include rule names, schedules, limits, selection counts, completion records, and unblock or emergency-pass activity. These records can be saved to Firestore to maintain settings, progress, and account recovery. Screen Time permission and private app selections are device-specific. You can manage authorization in iOS settings; revoking permission affects the related features.
4. Website visits and support messages
This website has no account registration, mailing-list form, advertising pixels, or analytics SDK added by us. Its example habit checklist runs in your browser, is not sent to a server, and resets when you reload. We do not add tracking cookies to this website.
Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs, to deliver and protect the site. Opening an external link is subject to that service’s practices.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or information you choose to include. Please avoid sending photos, sensitive personal information, passwords, or complete payment details unless necessary for your request.
5. Why information is processed
Information is used to provide your personal protocol, authenticate accounts, save and recover progress and preferences, operate focus and blocking features, support optional camera and reminder features, process and verify purchases, restore eligible access, show and evaluate paywalls, answer support requests, protect the Service, and meet legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing the service you request, consent for optional features where required, legitimate interests such as security and support where those interests are not overridden by your rights, and compliance with law. We do not use your habit or wellbeing entries to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
6. Service providers and disclosures
- Apple provides App Store payments, subscription controls, Sign in with Apple, and the iOS permissions and Screen Time frameworks used by the app. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
- Google/Firebase provides app authentication, cloud database storage and recovery, and backend functions. Information can include account identifiers and provider credentials, profile and protocol records, progress checkpoints, and technical request or security information.
- RevenueCat verifies purchases and subscription entitlements and supports restores. The app associates its purchase identity with the Firebase account identifier. Records can include product and transaction identifiers, purchase times, subscription and trial status, renewal information, amounts, and currency.
- Superwall delivers and measures paywalls. The app associates Superwall with the purchase app-user identifier and subscription status. Superwall can process purchase and paywall interactions, app and SDK versions, vendor/device identifiers, device model and operating system, locale, timezone, and technical attributes. Configured purchase integrations can forward transaction details, revenue, country, identifiers, and associated customer attributes. Our core purchase integration does not intentionally attach your journal, letter, or proof-photo files to purchase events.
- Vercel hosts this website and processes technical information needed to deliver and secure it.
- Email providers process support correspondence.
Providers process information to perform their services under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Requests to online services can involve IP addresses, timestamps, app or browser information, and security or diagnostic logs. Learn more from Apple, Firebase, RevenueCat, Superwall, and Vercel.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, with your direction, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. We do not currently display third-party advertising in Dialed.
7. Optional app analytics
Optional PostHog app analytics is not enabled for this release. This does not disable the separate processing used for accounts, database storage, purchases, paywalls, or technical and security operations. If optional analytics is offered in a future release, we will describe its collection and choices before enabling it where consent is required.
8. Permissions and choices
You can allow or deny camera access, notifications, and Screen Time authorization through iOS controls. The current app schedules reminders on your device when you opt in. Disabling a permission may make the related optional feature unavailable. The optional Reset camera check-in is not recorded by the current app.
You choose whether to connect Sign in with Apple and whether to share an exported card or data file using your device’s sharing tools. A recipient or destination you choose may retain its own copy. The in-app data export contains information currently stored or loaded on the device; it does not include photo files, private Screen Time app selections, or every record held by service providers, and it is not an importable backup.
You can manage Apple sign-in permissions and subscriptions through your Apple account. Signing out or removing the app does not itself delete cloud account records or cancel a subscription.
9. Retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until removed through available controls, local cleanup, removal of app data, or uninstalling, subject to your device and backup settings. Signing out can retain an account-scoped local recovery copy. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase information that exists only on your device. Removing the app does not request deletion of your cloud account, and reinstalling is not guaranteed to restore device-only information.
Cloud account, protocol, and progress records are retained until removed through available controls or a deletion request is processed. We do not currently apply an automatic account-expiration period. Limited deletion-status and retry records, technical or security records, backups, and information required for legal or business records may remain for their respective purposes. We retain support correspondence as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Settings includes a Delete account control. To start deletion for an account linked to Sign in with Apple, you must sign in with Apple again; the service revokes the linked Apple authorization before removing account data. A successful server request deletes your Firebase Authentication account and the cloud profile, protocol, and progress records stored under that account in Firestore. After server confirmation, the app clears associated local app data. If the request fails or is interrupted before confirmation, local progress is retained and the app displays an error or recovery message with a retry option. Some server steps may already have completed, so an error does not mean online records are unchanged. If local cleanup fails after online deletion is confirmed, the app reports this and lets you retry cleanup; some local data may already have been removed. For help or to request deletion through support, contact huddydialed@gmail.com. We may need information to verify and process the request. We do not promise immediate deletion, and will tell you if a request cannot be completed or if some records must be retained.
Deletion of a Dialed account does not automatically delete independent records held by Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, infrastructure or email providers, or copies you shared with others. Providers may retain transaction, technical, fraud-prevention, accounting, or other records under their disclosed purposes and obligations. A completed deletion process can retain a limited record containing the account identifier, an operation hash, and request/completion times to support reliable processing and retries.
Account deletion and app removal do not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it through your Apple account’s subscription settings. Contact us about information under the Company’s control or assistance with provider-held records; legal retention duties may limit what can be deleted.
10. Security and international processing
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and services involved, but no device, transmission, or storage system is perfectly secure. Protect your device and account credentials. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, transfers are subject to applicable legal safeguards.
11. Privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision on a privacy request. You may also have a right to complain to a relevant privacy regulator. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to huddydialed@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and fulfill a request. An authorized agent may contact us where permitted by law. We will respond within applicable legal deadlines and will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. Some information is held directly by Apple or other providers, so you may also need to use their privacy tools.
12. Young users
Dialed is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact huddydialed@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deleting information where appropriate. Users who are minors should have their parent or guardian review these policies and the Terms.
13. Updates and contact
We will post updates here and change the effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes where required by law.
